USA to insure trade vessels against military risks in Black Sea

TBILISI, November 27 /GHN/. US President George Bush signed a resolution “against loss or damage caused by war risks for trade in the Black Sea”.

The resolution allows the US Transport Minister to provide insurance of the US commercial trade vessels at the expense of special state funds, GHN reports.

The resolution of George Bush will be valid during the 90-day term.

“The Transport Minister is charged to immediately bring this resolution to the notice of all organizations managing the US vessels,” the resolution signed by the president reads.

The reasons why the US president allowed to insure the US trade vessels in the Black Sea against military risks are not explained in the document.
