Turkish Dogus Insaat launches construction of D terminal at Kyiv's Boryspil airport
KYIV, November 21. /UKRINFORM/. Turkish company Dogus Insaat has confirmed all of its bank guarantees, and is officially starting to build terminal D at Kyiv's Boryspil airport.
The area allocated for the new terminal complex has been officially transferred to Dogus Insaat for beginning the construction effort, the press service of the Transport and Communications Ministry of Ukraine reported.
Dogus Insaat won the tender for the terminal construction, following which it signed the relevant contract with state-run enterprise International Airport Boryspil on September 26, 2008.
The cost of the contract is USD 377 million, of which USD 167 million is a Japanese loan, and USD 210 million was provided by the airport itself.
The new terminal for up to 14,000 passengers will be able to service up to 3,000 men per hour.
