Flu, acute respiratory infections kill 940 people in Ukraine

KYIV, January 13 /UKRINFORM/. The number of those who have died of flu and flu-like illnesses in Ukraine has increased to 940 people, including 22 who have died over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry's press service has said.

Over 4.106 million people have contracted flu and acute respiratory viral infections since the outbreak of the flu epidemic in the country (October 29, 2009), including 53,814 over the past 24 hours.
